Fix-It Duck (Duck in the Truck) I love this series of books read them over and over to my grandson when he was small I was telling a friend about them she s got a toddler grandchild and decided to send for one to give to her Oh the nostalgia when it arrived Lovely, lovely stuff gorgeous, funny illustrations and a joy to read out loud Thoroughly recommended. New Cover Reissue In Million Copy Best Selling Duck In The Truck SeriesPlop Goes The Drip That Drops From The CupDuck Looks Down And Duck Looks Up A Leak In The Roof, Oh What Bad LuckThis Is A Job For FIX IT DUCK Can He Fix It No He Can T Duck Wants To Show Off His DIY Skills But, The Trouble Is, When Duck Starts Fixing Things, The Problems Are Only Just Beginning My nearly 3 year old loves this book and had been asking for it for several months before we bought it from the pictures at the back of others in the series It was a favourite for weeks on end, and we had to read it every night The ever bumbling Duck sets out to mend his leaking roof, and a catalogue of disasters follows, ending up with poor Sheep and his caravan in the water Hilarious read, full of great rhyming text and detailed pictures, and lots for your young audience to join in with my son now reads it to me he knows the text by heart. This, and all the others from the series, are just excellent. This is a great book that we borrowed from the nursery school library and loved so much we ve started the joy Great storyline and rhythm This is great for small ones who are just learning to read independently. OK Fix It Duck is absolutely brilliant, I love it and force my 19 month old son to listen to it again and again and again luckily, he quite likes it too.BUT one of the versions on is the American version the differences are small but I found them very annoying A flat, says Duck he forgot to turn his faucet off I think it s the version published by Kane Miller that s American. Good story but not so good reading on a tablet, thought it would be possible to zoom in and out, but alas not the book arrived quickly but some of the pages were not cut along the top and were therefore torn when my grandson opened the book he loved the story but book ruined so i am disappointed I loved this for my first born Now a new dad again 14 years later, I had no hesitation in adding this to my son s book shelf Wonderfully rhythmic rhyming and a funny twist at the end
