My dad introduced me to this show a few years ago, and since then, I ve been an ardent fan of Only Fools and Horses I wanted to buy this book both to read and have as keepsake, after all, it won t be in print forever There s practically a chuckle on every page, and the book follows the progression of the TV series through the years Simply put, the book is almost akin to the scripts of the show, reconfigured in biography form almost as though Del himself had written and starred in the show and then decided to write a book about it afterwards There are a few personal titbits added in here and there, including photo pages, and other brief paragraphs and pages tying everything together nicely From what I gather, there is already material similar this out there, but if you are an OFAH fan, and you haven t read any of the other material, then this book is certainly worth the read, and I doubt you ll be disappointed.

i ve got a great idealets re release all the best scripts from Only Fools so whilst I do enjoy reading this, you, like me and everyone else in Britain will know exactly what s coming in the story as we ve all heard it so many times before Its an easy read because of that, but you cant help thinking how lazy this was as a project a small amount of spit and polish and you can knock out a new book which is actually just the same old stories Del Boy would be proud.

What a clever idea and an excellent full stop to the Trotters story I enjoyed finding out what happened to the Trotters and their friends after the show ended it was hilarious and thoroughly recommended

Thought this would be a story of Del Boy but all it is is a precis of a number of TV scripts Anyone who has seen the TVs series would be not need to read the book as they already know what it would say

  6. S Wickham S Wickham says:

A nice read, which takes you straight back to the fun and antics of The Trotters Not all of it matches with the much loved tv series but if you can get past that and enjoy it for what it is, then you ll keep turning the pages.

I love that book It brings up memories from the good old shed Reads very well like butter, you got a LOT of remimscences whatever to the original series, and some to come up with, what we never saw But i read it completely, and its sad that it endet Cushdy
