Very nicely done collection of rides with good commentaries I particularly like that there there are local circuits plus long distance linear runs E W and N S Will easily fold in half to fit tank bag with route showing I think I will also see if I can convert some routes to Garmin format using BaseCamp to add to my Zumo It would have had 5 stars but for what to me is a fundamental omission, namely there are no summary maps to locate the rides, neither on a regional nor national basis So it s really difficult to quickly work out where any of the rides are or go or even potentially connect That irritates me The so called Locator Map on page 207 doesn t serve any purpose I can think of If I seem to be labouring this a bit it s because for me this lack of real locator maps spoils an otherwise excellent book

I bought this book for my Father in Law as he is motorbike mad He said this is the best book he has ever had like this and he has already planned some rides to do with it The book is set into geographical locations and each ride is well described and mapped out I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to get out and explore on a motorbike.

Bought as a Fathers Day present Good for local area rides Detailed information regarding distance and timings on rides further afield that may not be considered but could be attempted due to detailed information Good maps and colour photos Value for money.

Some really good routes As we all know our own areas better than anyone else, there are also some routes that seem to be missing or underplayed, but that s the whole point Simon can t produce a sensible sized book that gives every good road in Britain an equal amount of room, but this is a really good start on the job Well worth the time it took to find a copy Print .

Brilliant bikers route book I bought the other one to good routes to ride plus you can mix and match these routes and your own if there in the same place

I bought this book to plan some tours in the UK in 2018 It is or less useless for this purpose I miss a central overview map were the routes are shown, some tours are so ridicously short and the overall information is than poor The one star is given because the ring bound finish is not bad.

Provides little info than the Tours companion book Buy one or the other and wait.
