Love this book,so many jokes that you sometimes don t even notice I bet that there s even jokes that I did not see I really do recommend this book Hope this review is helpful One Little Ancient British Village Still Holds Out Against The Roman Invaders Asterix And Obelix Are Invited To Help They Must Face Fog, Rain, Warm Beer And Boiled Boar With Mint Sauce, But They Soon Have Governor Encyclopaedicus Britannicus S Romans Declining And Falling Until A Wild Race For A Barrel Of Magic Potion Lands Them In The Drink It S Not Quite Cricket How About A Nice Cup Of Hot Water, Though Or Even The First Ever Tea Party Bought for my son s birthday, as I remember reading these voraciously as a kid Great stories and also the odd nod to history and Latin basics Excellent puns too. Brilliant comic and timeless story Classic Asterix Hilarious adults and children love it and laugh out loud Read it whenever you feel down. I haven t read a Asterix comic prior to this for 20 years or so I fancied a touch of nostalgia so I treat myself I wasn t disappointed this Asterix adventure is as charming and as much fun to read as I remember them It s also very funny and read with adult eyes a little bit subversive Which is brilliant Can t recommend highly enough.
