Maths the Basics Functional Skills Edition (E3-L2) Just what I wanted Thanks seller. Building On The Popularity Of Our Best Selling Maths The Basic Skills, This New Edition Is Ideal For Those Who Need To Achieve The Minimum Level Of Functional Skills Required For Employment Or Want To Help Their Children With Their Homework Or Would Simply Just Like To Brush Up On Their Maths Skills Lovely book, really helpful, straight forward explanations, and the added bonus of being able to access free worksheets Well worth the money. Exactly what my partner was after There doesn t seem to be any change to the previous edition, apart from the title. Great step by step guide which is easy to read and understand An excellent introduction book which helps those returning to education and lays the foundation for further studies and GCSEs This book is amazing and with all due respect I experienced poor education at high school many years ago Now I am learning maths again from scratch, this book has been a godsend to me My new tutor has the same book and I can keep pace of the lesson.I have recently passed my level one in functional skills maths all because of this book and have enrolled on level 2 in functional skills. For anyone who lacks confidence in maths, poor skills etc What ever you are feeling about mathsthis book is great It is a wonderful start before starting a GCSE in maths Thank you. As a Functional Skills lecturer I am still using the basic skills version of this but would recommend the Functional Skills version to anyone who is starting out teaching functional maths It can be used as a self study guide by students, covers levels 1 and 2 together and, importantly for the new teacher, has the answers in the back
