This is a great bite size book for bedtime reading It helps to read it with some sort of other reference book or an iphone as I found although I had a moderate knowledge of gardening I wanted to look up some of the specific varietys that Katherine talked about It gave me loads of ideas for my garden and I found you could pick this book up and put it down easily as it was extracts from her

I loved this book, made up of gardening columns from the Daily Telegraph although it is about one garden in particular, it s not JUST about the garden, there s other stuff there too It s very philosophical I found it a relaxing read that made me want to get outside and start planting.
