[PDF / Epub] ☉ The New Me By Halle Butler – Tactical-player.co.uk

The New Me I really struggled with this book Whilst I understood the message behind it, I just found it very monotonous and slow 3 chapters in and already love itRecommended on The High Low podcast I found the ending a little dark, however very honest A well written and very relatable piece of fiction A quick read and recommended. I am sure that I am for older than the intentended demographic for this book but I found it very powerful and quite moving it is subtly told and you have to join the dots but it is all the better for that only real problem was with the ending which was rather abrupt but, on the other hand, hard to see how it could have been otherwise.as a study of a young person stuggling with life and finding it hard to cope, it is a bit bleak and, thankfully not at all sentimental, but has the occasional funny episodes as well to provide a few shafts of sunlight well worth a read A future classic An amusing and relatable novel focusing on the daily life of a thirty year old woman confined to an all consuming, yet meaningless and soul crushing, administrative temp job Highly recommended. Really enjoyed this one for fans of Ottesa Moshfegh A captivating portrayal of a young woman feeling lost in life.
